K_DOT
K_DOT explores matter in its most elemental dimension. The cylindrical ceramic base features a deliberately raw surface reminiscent of the mineral presence of concrete or worked stone.
Small, defined reliefs interrupt the continuity of the volume: micro-forms that emerge from the surface like particles of raw material. These elements generate an irregular, vibrant three-dimensional texture that transforms the surface into a material landscape.
The project explores the tension between elemental form and complex surface: the cylinder maintains an archetypal yet distorted geometry, while its surface is animated by a constellation of dots that capture the light and lend it visual depth.
